Hi
everybody! My name is Diana Ngo and I am a 24 year old student going for my
B.A. in Art, all the while continuing my education at Pierce College for the
R.V.T program (Registered Veterinarian Technician). My passions are drawing
and oil painting, therefore I chose those as my major, later on as a future
alternative career as an Art teacher. But as for my “now” career goal is to
work with animals, I love them even when they are trying to bite my hands
off, my people skills needs a lot work so that is why I am currently leaning
towards RVT (to avoid contact with humans, j/k). I currently have three
dogs, two of which are Boston Terriers and a Golden/Chow mix. I usually
bring the occasional stray or lost dog, so I am adding and subtracting
animals all the time.
I am taking this Chicano Studies class as a lower
division requirement but I also figured that it would be more interesting
than U.S. History. Most of my friends (95%) are Hispanics, so I guess why
not learn a little more about their history and give them a little
information about what they might not know. So I look forward to this class
and hope to learn new things, and wish everyone good luck! |
